375 members of the National Academy of Sciences have published an open letter on the serious risks of climate change. 30 Nobel laureates have put their names to this letter. It is not uncommon for scientists to speak out about the damaging effects of climate change. However, this is the first open letter from so many scientists concerned about the future of the planet.
