Plastic bottles, plastic waste.

Record-breaking sailor, Dame Ellen MacArthur warned a year ago of litter in the world’s oceans.  She said that "there will be more waste plastic in the sea than fish by 2050, unless the industry cleans up its act."  Plastic pollution remains a huge problem today.  According to 'Recycle Now' - in Britain alone "of the over 35 million plastic bottles being used every day in the UK, nearly 16 million plastic bottles aren’t being put out for recycling."

This misses the point that the main  problem is plastic itself, and we as consumers happily go along using 35 million plastic bottles every day.  ​
